About the Clevedon

Clevedon is a popular seaside destination and commuter town located in North Somerset, South West England. The town’s proximity to the M5 motorway has made it a popular choice to call home for commuters working in nearby Bristol and also for tourists who visit the town for its traditional seaside charm.

Although considered to be a dormitory town for Bristol, Clevedon is home to many thriving industrial trading estates situated close to the M5 motorway and housing many companies in a diverse range of industries.

Tourism is also an important economic source for the town. Clevedon first became famous as a seaside resort in the Victorian era and still displays some fine examples of Victorian architecture such as the town’s Victorian bandstand and Grade I listed Victorian Pier. Recently, Clevedon has also found fame as the setting for the popular ITV drama series Broadchurch and fans have been flocking to the area to explore Clevedon’s glorious landscapes and follow the ‘Broadchurch Trail’ of locations used in the series.
